A truly tranquil location and just 20 yards to the beach, yet still close to amenities, fantastic for small groups and families.. In an enviable holiday location yards from the shore and overlooking the Sound of Kerrera, this detached croft house is near Oban town centre which boasts a cinema, leisure centre and a variety of shops, bars and restaurants. From Oban’s bustling harbour, there are daily boat trips to many of the Inner Hebrides, including Mull, Staffa and Iona. For the outdoor enthusiast golf, walking, mountain biking, fishing and a variety of watersports are available. The mountains of Fort William & Glencoe are easily reached. Beach 20 yards. Shop and pub 1½ miles, restaurant 1 mile.. 1 step to entrance.

It's a very very minor thing but for me the quilt was too heavy, especially in the summer time. But that's just my personal opinion. We all had an amazing time and lovely memories were made. Already recommended the cottage to friends.

We booked for a family holiday and we were not disappointed, location was quite but close to everything you would need, Oban just 5 mins away by car for shopping. Close to ferry for Kerrera which we did the circular route which is about 7 miles but scenery well worth the trip. If you like seafood try the green hut next to the ferry terminal, very rustic but seafood excellent. My son and grandson went across the road to fish, granson who is 8 caught a dogfish which they put back alive, but was over the moon he caught something. Would definitely use this croft again.
