For outdoor enthusiasts, the area offers golfing at Powfoot Golf Club, cycling along the Solway Coast, and birdwatching at Caerlaverock Wetland Centre. History buffs can visit Caerlaverock Castle, a stunning medieval stronghold, or venture to Drumlanrig Castle for a grand day out.
