We chose The Haven due to it's amazing location, private parking space, enclosed garden, and because we could bring our dog with us.You are literally 30'ish steps away from the south-facing beach, and can enjoyed the amazing sunrises at the front of the house, and in the main bedroom, first thing.We had everything we needed, including a king-size bed and dishwasher.Powfoot itself is the most amazing location; there's a village green where you can play massive connect-4 or have a spin on the mini putting green and leave a donation in the honesty box. There's also a large selection of books, DVDs and CDs that are available to buy (honesty box) and help towards keeping the village facilities going.There are also a couple of leaflets available: one describes the history of Powfoot, and the other shows the amazing local walks along with the distances.Annan, with a couple of supermarkets, pubs, and takeaways etc. is only about 10 mins drive away.I highly recommend The Haven and can't wait to return.
