The Carriage was a great base for us as we explored the South West coast 300 route. It offers privacy and a unique “glamping” experience. It has everything you want or need to make it a home from home. The dog had plenty of room to run around the garden and bark without disturbing the owners. We would recommend this as a place to stay for families or even a romantic get away.

What a lovely "cottage". the location is perfectly placed for day trips to all parts of the southwest Scotland.Getting to the "cottage" it's actually a 1950's railway coach that has been cleverly converted to provide 3 good sized bedrooms. a living room/kitchen and 2 toilets. The Kitchen has everything you need to have meals in the Carriage.

Loved the originality and authenticity of The Carriage. Eric was very welcoming, helpful and informative. Plenty of places nearby to explore and some lovely places to eat (home cooked) would highly recommend a stay here and may even go back ourselves 😁
