To the front of Allonby is a gravelled area with seating and picnic table, perfect to sit out and watch the world go by. To the rear the garden is totally enclosed with a children's play house, BBQ, more garden furniture and views over the estuary and beyond.
Allonby is ideally located for nearby beaches, sailing, mountain biking, golfing, walking, fishing or simply relaxing by the sea. The picturesque village of Kippford has all you need for a wonderful stay; beautiful scenery, good food and plenty to do. There are two good pubs within walking distance both of which serve food and a small seasonal shop. It is also the ideal location to explore the south west of Scotland. A beautiful , well equipped and maintained house in a great location right on the estuary. . Peaceful and a good base for exploring other parts of Galloway My Grandson enjoyed the collection of children's books and toys . Lizzie ,the owner , was very helpful .
