Phoenix Cottage in Kippford is highly praised for its stunning views, excellent location, and spacious, well-equipped open-plan living areas. Guests appreciate the relaxing atmosphere, proximity to walks, beaches, and local pubs, as well as the beautiful balcony and garden. The owners are noted for good communication and helpfulness. While a few minor issues such as occasional maintenance needs, soft mattresses, and rare cleanliness concerns were mentioned, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, making it a popular choice for family holidays and repeat visits.

Most guests found the cottage clean and fresh, with only isolated mentions of dog hair on furnishings and an unpleasant smell in one bedroom. These were not widespread issues and did not significantly impact overall satisfaction.

The location is consistently described as fantastic, with beautiful views, easy access to walks, beaches, and local amenities. The only minor drawback noted was the rough lane leading to the property.

Guests found the cottage spacious, warm, and comfortable, with particular praise for the open-plan living area and balcony. Some mentioned very soft beds, which may not suit all preferences, but overall comfort was highly rated.

The cottage is well-equipped with kitchen utensils, games, books, and outdoor space. Occasional maintenance issues (decking, oven, shower, garden upkeep) were noted but did not detract significantly from guests' enjoyment.

Fantastic house, we loved our stay here. Perfect location in Kippford, Close to all amenities, local shop and pubs all with easy walking distance. Waterfront only a minutes away and lovely walks near by. Phoenix cottage is well equipped and spacious, everyone had their own space. The cottage sits on an elevated position and we loved sitting on the balcony looking over the water. Beautiful mature gardens to enjoy. The owners are very helpful and provided great information. Thank you we will definitely return in the future.

Very spacious and warm holiday home with a great garden and balcony. Well equipped with everything you need and a great garden for the summer. Only drawback is the lane leading up to the house is not made up and full of pot holes. Good communication from the owners but they phoned just before we started our holiday to say that the oven and one of the showers , whilst still working, needed replacement parts which were to be fitted whilst we were there. However, did not hear anything further from them. They also failed to get back to me over trousers damaged on door furniture. Would still reccomend this house.
