Guests say

Roe Deer Lodge is praised for its peaceful and picturesque setting, offering a tranquil retreat with comfortable furnishings and a welcoming atmosphere. Guests appreciate the lodge's cleanliness, the thoughtful welcome pack, and the surrounding wildlife and scenery. While some reviews mention areas for improvement, the overall sentiment is one of satisfaction and a desire to return.

The lodge received mixed feedback on cleanliness. While some guests found it spotless and well-maintained, others reported issues with cleanliness, including dust, dirt, and personal items left behind. The variance in experiences suggests room for improvement.

The location is consistently praised for its beauty and tranquillity, with guests enjoying the dark starry skies and wildlife. However, some found it a bit too isolated, wishing for amenities within walking distance.

Guests generally found the lodge comfortable, with cosy beds and sofas, and a large decked area. However, there were comments about an uncomfortable double bed and the lodge being cold at night.

The lodge is well-equipped according to some guests, but others reported maintenance issues such as broken items and problems with the Wi-Fi and TV. The mixed reviews indicate that while the facilities are adequate, there is a need for attention to maintenance.

While guests mentioned a welcome pack, there is not enough information to assess the consistency or quality of thoughtfulness across all stays. Therefore, it is politely noted that such gestures, while appreciated, may not be guaranteed.
