Great cottage & location. Owners seem to have covered all your needs in the equipment in the house. The welcome pack & the welcome goodies are well thought out. Had an awesome time, walk to beach took minutes. Local's friendly but not intrusive. Great place to chill * recharge your batteries.

Lovely spacious bungalow in a quiet cul-de-sac, just a 5 minute stroll from a long sandy beach. A very generous welcome pack was much appreciated. The village has a shop and pub/restaurant with other amenities about a 15 min drive away in Stranraer. Only negative is the crockery needs updating and restocking. It was fine for our party of 3 but larger groups may struggle. We would return if visiting the area again.

Absolutely loved this property, it was perfect for my 90 year old mum. The purpose of our weekend break was solely for my mum to relax before going to hospital for an operation next week. The cottage provided that relaxing space. The weather was lovely for most of our stay so we were able to sit out in the garden. The whole cottage is very tastefully decorated both inside and out. Location was fabulous, being so close to a lovely quiet beach was amazing for the dogs. It is also a really good base for exploring the stunning area of Dumfries and Galloway. I would love to come back for longer. We also went for a meal at the Tigh na Mara, where the staff, food and restaurant was 1st class.
