First impression when we arrived is that the caravan is in need of some TLC. Exterior was in need of a clean, door handles needed replacing as all the paint on them was worn & the wooden decking was dirty with flaky paint. We also struggled to get the key in & out of the lock as it was very stiff. When we entered the van there was a bowl of fruit on the table that was definitely past it's best - the bananas were black & went straight in the bin. There were lots of storage cupboards in the kitchen however 3 of those were full of food leaving very little room for our own food that we took with us. There was also food left in the freezer. In one of the bedrooms there were holes burned into the lampshades & the wardrobes were all cracked. The draws needed wiping before we could put our clothes into thenGeneral cleanliness of the van was very poor. The blinds had a layer of dust on them. The tables needed cleaning, the fridge smelled & I needed to clean it before I could put my food in.At first glance the carpet seemed OK however after my daughter sat on the floor she was covered in dog hair. Upon rubbing the carpet piles of white dog hair came out. I understand that this was a dog friendly caravan, however this should mean that extra care is taken with cleaning. A good, powerful vacumn cleaner would have cleaned this up however it was clear that one had not been used

Caravan was lovely and clean, very well equipped and one of the best welcome packages we've ever had - much appreciated.Very rough beach but that didn't trouble us and lots of beautiful scenery in the area.
