This wonderfully light, spacious first floor apartment is beautifully furnished with a stylish living room, complete with piano and small balcony, offering the perfect base for a memorable Edinburgh holiday. The generous kitchen/dining room is well-equipped for those creative cooks or simply as a breakfast stop before a day exploring the city and its many restaurants. The bedrooms are thoughtfully furnished with great attention to comfort and detail. Access into the city centre is easy either by bus or on foot, where there are galleries, theatres and shops along with the iconic Edinburgh Castle and Holyrood Palace at either end of the Royal Mile. There is a wide range of pubs and restaurants throughout the city and many festivals held throughout the year. Being a relatively small city, exploring on foot is a great option. For variety, take day trips to the lovely beaches and golf courses of East Lothian or the Borders. Beach 4 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

I had friendly email correspcondence with Eddie about our arrival and key collection. We we greeted by David, who was absolutely lovely and showed us the apartment and gave us our keys. We were warmly welcomed. The apaprtment is incredibly spacious and in a quiet area, that is excellent for accessing the city centre and is a short stroll along the river to Leith. The apartment has plenty of loo roll, all washing up things that are needed, hand wash and even shower gel. The showers were nice and powerful and easily regulated. It was a pleasure to return each evening and relax in the large living room, with its balcony. THere was a brilliant Greek restaurant a few minutre walk away, Spitaki Greek Taverna. We ate here the first night so that we didn't have to go back into the city itself. There are pubs nearby, although we didn't try these. We loved our time in Edinburgh and this apartment so much, that we have rebooked for next year. It was just so convenient for what we needed to do and as it is near the Botsnic Garden we were planning on visiting there next time. Thank you Eddie and David. See you next year.

Our stay was wonderful and we really enjoyed it. The space was great for our family of 5 and it was a nice walk into town.
