Guests say

Hedderwick House is a spacious, well-equipped cottage in a charming location, ideal for families and groups exploring the Fife coast. Guests praise its cleanliness, ample space, and proximity to local attractions and amenities. The property is comfortable and warm, with a well-stocked kitchen and helpful hosts. Some guests noted minor maintenance issues, patchy WiFi, and parking challenges, but these did not detract significantly from the overall positive experience. The area is peaceful and welcoming, making it a delightful base for a memorable holiday.

Multiple reviews highlight the property as clean, spotlessly maintained, and tidy. Only minor mentions of scuffs and a damp patch were noted, but these did not overshadow the overall high standard of cleanliness.

The location is frequently praised for its proximity to Pittenweem Harbour, local shops, cafes, and the Fife coastal path. Guests appreciate the peaceful setting and easy access to nearby attractions, making it an excellent base for exploring the area.

Guests generally find the house spacious, cosy, and warm, with comfortable beds for most. However, a few reviews mention very firm mattresses and pillows, and some heating control issues, which affected comfort for some visitors.

The house is well-equipped with a large kitchen, utility area, and garage parking. Some guests noted maintenance issues such as broken blinds, a leaking kettle, patchy WiFi, and non-Smart TVs. Most found the facilities met their needs, but a few suggested improvements.

Some guests received thoughtful gestures such as logs and oatcakes, but others noted the absence of a welcome pack or basic kitchen supplies. While gifts may be provided, they are not guaranteed and should not be expected.

Good clean accommodation with all amenities in splendid position. WiFi dominantly didn’t work and was unsecured shared network. Anyone with mobility issues would need to contact owners beforehand.

Great location. Nice house. Bigger than expected. Tiny courtyard. Parking available in a garage beside the property.

Very spacious cottage. Ideal for a family or friends. Spotlessly clean and nice and warm (1 exception - the radiator in twin bedroom doesnt work) Has all the utensils you need. Beds firm but comfortable. Lovely bathroom. Kitchen is a great size and very nice (however there is a large damp patch which needs attention) (also the fridge actually freezers your food which isnt great! & is mentioned in visitors book) There are some scuffs and scratches around the cottage which is a shame. Outside space is disappointing.
