Hedderwick House is a spacious and well-equipped property in Anstruther, appreciated for its comfortable furnishings and excellent location. Guests have enjoyed the local amenities and the property's suitability for families and those with mobility needs. Some guests mentioned minor issues with maintenance and comfort, but overall experiences have been positive, with many looking forward to returning.
Guests have described the house as clean and well-kept. There are no significant complaints about cleanliness, indicating that the property is maintained to a high standard.
The location is highly praised for being close to local attractions and amenities. The proximity to Pittenweem Harbour and Anstruther, along with the local shops, cafes, and pubs, is a highlight for guests.
While some guests found the beds comfortable, others reported them as too firm, with pillows that were hard and flat. The mixed feedback suggests that comfort levels may vary among guests.
The property is well-equipped, but there are reports of issues with WiFi, heating, and some appliances. The lack of smart TVs and the challenges with the garage and parking also affect this score.
While guests have mentioned receiving logs and oat cakes, there is not enough consistent information about gifts or additional thoughtful touches provided by the hosts to accurately score this category.

We had a lovely stay in this spacious, comfortable house with responsive hosts. Parking can be challenging, so we were grateful for access to the garage. The kitchen was well equipped, but we would have appreciated having any cleaning products or kitchen basics provided. We were glad we brought the basics such as oil, tin foil, loo roll etc.
