Hedderwick House is a spacious, well-equipped cottage in a charming location, ideal for families and groups exploring the Fife coast. Guests praise its cleanliness, warmth, and accessibility, especially for those with mobility needs. The property is close to local amenities and scenic spots, making it a great base for exploring the area. While most found the house comfortable and well-appointed, some noted issues with WiFi, parking, and minor maintenance. Occasional thoughtful touches from the owner and neighbours were appreciated, though not always provided. Overall, guests enjoyed their stay and would recommend the property.
Multiple reviews highlight the property as clean and well-maintained, with only minor mentions of scuffs and a damp patch. Overall, guests found the house spotlessly clean and tidy.
The location is frequently praised for its proximity to Pittenweem Harbour, local shops, and the Fife coast. Guests enjoyed the quiet village setting and easy access to attractions, though some noted a steep hill and parking challenges.
Guests generally found the house spacious, warm, and cosy, with comfortable beds for most. However, several reviews mention very firm mattresses and pillows, and some issues with heating and light in bedrooms, which affected comfort for a few guests.
The house is well-equipped with a large kitchen and useful amenities, but several guests reported issues such as unreliable WiFi, lack of Smart TVs, minor maintenance needs, and limited parking. Some kitchen basics and cleaning products were missing.
Some guests received thoughtful gestures such as logs and oatcakes, but these are not guaranteed. There were also mentions of missing welcome packs and basic supplies, so guests should not expect gifts or extras as standard.

Good clean accommodation with all amenities in splendid position. WiFi dominantly didn’t work and was unsecured shared network. Anyone with mobility issues would need to contact owners beforehand.

Very spacious cottage. Ideal for a family or friends. Spotlessly clean and nice and warm (1 exception - the radiator in twin bedroom doesnt work) Has all the utensils you need. Beds firm but comfortable. Lovely bathroom. Kitchen is a great size and very nice (however there is a large damp patch which needs attention) (also the fridge actually freezers your food which isnt great! & is mentioned in visitors book) There are some scuffs and scratches around the cottage which is a shame. Outside space is disappointing.

Spacious, comfortable and well placed to enjoy lovely Pittenweem and the the other villages connected by the Coastal Path. We had a delightful week.
