It was lovely to come back to Bay View Cottage it is a great property in a great location. The house is spotless & well presented, so light and very spacious with a lovely garden. The views across the Tay are fantastic we had some beautiful sunsets. The local shop is very convenient. There are lovely walks from the house. It is so well located to visit Fife, Perth & Kinross & Angus. Dundee rail station was great to use the train to explore further afield & leave the car behind. We'll be back again.

From spotting trains and boats, to enjoying the sunset and rainbows. Our two children loved playing out in the various garden spaces. The property itself was well equipped with lots of space for us to relax. We enjoyed exploring the area. Lots to see and do for all ages. We will definitely recommend this property to others and will certainly be returning.

It has been the perfect place from which to explore the area and spend quality time with family members who now live locally. The welcome pack was lovely, the well equipped kitchen was a joy and the washer and the dryer very useful. The cottage was well stocked with washer and dishwasher tablets as well as lots of loo roll. The beds are very comfortable indeed. The View restaurant was ideally located just across the road and the food and service there was fabulous. We are all going to miss the glorious view of the bridge and river which is just so wonderful. Glad we brought the binoculars. We enjoyed watching the heron, terns, seals, swans and occasional sailing and rowing boats. We also enjoyed our days out at St Andrews, the Dundee Botanic Gardens and Scone Palace gardens, as well as a sunny day at Crail where there are such fascinating rocks. It was fun to hunt for the fossilised tree stumps on the shore. My husband has lots of photos of trains on the bridge! We certainly hope to return to Bay View Cottage and spend time with our family members who live in Dundee.
