Ayrshire with its stunning coastline, sandy beaches and historic sites is nearby and the islands of Arran, Bute and Cumbrae make for a great day out. The historic cities of Edinburgh and Stirling can be reached in an hour. Beach 17½ miles. Shop 4½ miles, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

Great value for money and in a nice rural setting. Cottage was well equipped for what we needed and well located for Glasgow, Loch Lomond and surrounding areas.

The OldBarn Farmhouse is the perfect home away from home. The location is great for us as it is close to family. Hazel is always very helpful and willing to asist with any of our questions or concerns. She responds quickly and in a friendly manner. The house is well set up and the play barn and outside activities are terrific for our granddaughter.

We had a fantastic week at the cottage. The owners are so friendly and welcoming and nothing was a hasle. They went out of their way to chat to my sons which did not go unnoticed. Would highly recommend this cottage. We only live 5 miles down the road but it felt like a proper wee escape for a week.
