Accessed by a farm track; The Barn has been renovated and refurbished to provide a cosy and welcoming home at all times of the year.
Adjacent to the owner’s home, The Barn has an immaculately presented living room with dining table, comfortable sofas and a wood burner for cooler evenings. There are two very attractively presented bedrooms, a kingsize bed and a twin with colour co-ordinated soft furnishings, a family bathroom and kitchen well-equipped to prepare a family meal. Guests have an enclosed private garden just across the lane where you can sit and relax and taking in the beautiful views. Depending on the season there many be lambs and calfs in the fields to admire, and local wild birds to see.
The pretty village of Fintry is only 3 miles with places to eat, coffee shop and local shop. The surrounding countryside is ideal for walking and cycling in the Campsie Fells. For days out Loch Lomond National Park, Blair Drummond Safari Park, Doune Castle and Glengoyne distillery are all within driving distance.

Der Aufenthalt in diesem Cottage hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Es war alles da was man braucht und es war sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet. Die einzige kleine Sache die mir nicht so gut gefallen hat, ist der Weg von der Straße zum Cottage bzw. zum Hof der Gastgeber. Mit einem normalen Wagen hat man fast das Gefühl, das der Wagen gleich auseinander fällt, so steinig und holprig wie der Weg ist. Trotzdem bekommt die Unterkunft von mir eine klare Empfehlung und ist ideal für einen Familienurlaub. Ein größes Dankeschön an die Gastgeber.
