Accessed by a farm track; The Barn has been renovated and refurbished to provide a cosy and welcoming home at all times of the year.
Adjacent to the owner’s home, The Barn has an immaculately presented living room with dining table, comfortable sofas and a wood burner for cooler evenings. There are two very attractively presented bedrooms, a kingsize bed and a twin with colour co-ordinated soft furnishings, a family bathroom and kitchen well-equipped to prepare a family meal. Guests have an enclosed private garden just across the lane where you can sit and relax and taking in the beautiful views. Depending on the season there many be lambs and calfs in the fields to admire, and local wild birds to see.
The pretty village of Fintry is only 3 miles with places to eat, coffee shop and local shop. The surrounding countryside is ideal for walking and cycling in the Campsie Fells. For days out Loch Lomond National Park, Blair Drummond Safari Park, Doune Castle and Glengoyne distillery are all within driving distance.

Awesome little place with fab welcome basket. Local pub is friendly and does good food. Would happily come again. Plenty of room for car and storage for bikes.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Barn despite the Weather, would suggest some new Pillows on the main bed & look at putting in a socket for the Hairdryer in the main bedroom as well , despite these two niggles we enjoyed the peace & quiet , and seeing a Hen Harrier & a Goshawk on the lane , plus the two escaped Sheep 🤭

This was our third visit to The Barn in Fintry, making it a truly special place for us. On our first visit, my husband proposed, our second was for our honeymoon, and this latest trip was an amazing two-week holiday.As always, The Barn was beautiful, peaceful and wonderfully cosy — the perfect place to relax and enjoy a memorable break. It was comfortable, beautifully presented and had everything we needed for a longer stay. The surrounding countryside was stunning, and we loved the tranquillity and charm of the location.We were made to feel very welcome once again, and it was lovely to return to somewhere that holds such special memories for us. It’s clear that a great deal of care and thought has gone into making The Barn such a wonderful place to stay.We thoroughly enjoyed our two-week holiday and would happily return for a fourth visit. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable and memorable getaway in a beautiful setting.
