Set in an elevated position in the Campsie Fells on a working farm and surrounded by the most spectacular scenery, The Barn is ideal for couples or a family holiday in a quiet and rural location. Accessed by a farm track; The Barn has been renovated and refurbished to provide a cosy and welcoming home at all times of the year.
Adjacent to the owner’s home, The Barn has an immaculately presented living room with dining table, comfortable sofas and a wood burner for cooler evenings. There are two very attractively presented bedrooms, a kingsize bed and a twin with colour co-ordinated soft furnishings, a family bathroom and kitchen well-equipped to prepare a family meal. Guests have an enclosed private garden just across the lane where you can sit and relax and taking in the beautiful views. Depending on the season there many be lambs and calfs in the fields to admire, and local wild birds to see.
The pretty village of Fintry is only 3 miles with places to eat, coffee shop and local shop. The surrounding countryside is ideal for walking and cycling in the Campsie Fells. For days out Loch Lomond National Park, Blair Drummond Safari Park, Doune Castle and Glengoyne distillery are all within driving distance.

The Barn was a lovely holiday cottage let. In a beautiful location with everything you could possibly need supplied. Those with young families have a high chair and a cot supplied.. ..a hidsend I remember many moobs ago! Their welcome pack was one of the best we have received, thank you again for your kindness. There's really nothing we could find fault with for our weeks stay there. It was well situated to explore more of Scotland if you wanted to or to just chill out in quaint local villages and enjoy the peace and quiet The Barn has to offer. We have no hesitation in recommending The Barn to customers and indeed hope to rake our grandchildren back in thd future during lambing season when they will be encouraged to go and see the lambs. Overall a lovely place with lovely people.

We had an amazing stay at the Barn.June was so kind, there were homemade pancakes in the welcome hamper and she even knitted a little gift for my daughter.The Barn had everything you would need, and is in an excellent location for Stirling, Glasgow and Loch Lomond. The views in the mornings were outstanding.Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.
