Gael Cham was a very good for our stay. Equipped with all you need lovely view of the Cairngorms can see the funicular railway on the mountain side on a clear moment.The one thing that lets it down are the beds and mattresses. My wife and I slept in the single beds and they creak loudly with that and an open coil spring mattress it makes for an uncomfortable night. Our friends had similar issues with the double bed. It probably doesn’t help as three of us work for a mattress and bed manufacturer and have high expectations If these were up graded to pocket mattresses with non creaking bases it would improve sleep. The rest of the accommodation is excellent.

Excellent location, spacious lodge for 4 adults, sleeps 6 but may be a squeeze in capacity, maybe extra kitchen utensils needed. Struggled to keep warm with small storage heaters in winter, very clean and comfortable, previous reviews questioned quality of bedding but didn't have any issues as comfortable.

Lovely cottage, had a very enjoyable few days
