With an open plan living space, three double bedrooms and and one twin bedroom, this property also has a shower room and a bathroom and is ideally suited to families. It is also dog friendly and has its own garden. Golf, fishing and horse riding are all within 5 miles.

Pro's; The house is part of the caravan site reception and has its own front and rear doors together with a private rear garden with a lockable gate. There are two parking spaces reserved for the house. It is very nicely decorated and furnished and was spotlessly clean. It is well situated just north of the town and has a foot/bike path just across the road that goes directly into Aviemore town centre. Whilst the site office does not manage the house, the staff are very happy to offer advice on places to eat or visit. Con's; There were only two things that stopped me giving a 5* rating. As has been mentioned in a number of previous reviews, with the exception of coat hooks next to the front door, there is literally no hanging space for clothes anywhere in the house. This is odd to say the least and I cannot understand why this has not been sorted as it is mentioned in other reviews and for us was a real drawback. The other issue was there was nowhere to secure or store our bikes. A bike store or shed would have been a big help to us as we were four friends mountain biking for a week with expensive bikes. These were the only two issues that would otherwise have made the stay perfect. Would we stay there again? Yes, definitely.

Group of 4 grumpy golfing pensioners, loved the place (and the golf). The chalet was roomy with 4 good sized bedrooms, 2 bath and en suite, well equipped kitchen, TV and garden area, and about 5 mins 1 mile from shops, eateries and bars. All 4 of the golf courses we played were within 15 mins.It would be great for families, sits on a small camp site. We were warmly welcomed and that welcome continued throughout our stay over 5 days. As a group we all agreed we would happily return.
