Bidean Cottage is praised for its immaculate cleanliness, stunning and peaceful location, and comfortable amenities. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, powerful shower, and the inclusion of a welcome pack. The lack of phone signal and WiFi is noted, though some see this as a chance for a screen-free retreat. The access road is rough, and low cars may struggle.

The location is frequently described as 'spectacular', 'stunning', and 'beautiful', suggesting a high level of satisfaction with the setting, despite the challenging access road.

If you fancy staying in a fairly isolated glen we would certainly recommend this comfortable cottage. There is no WiFi in the cottage (but available at the owners house) and no phone reception either. It’s in a beautiful area and very dog friendly.

The cottage was very clean, comfortable and warm. It is set in a spectacular location, making it a peaceful retreat. As others have said there is a mile or so unpaved road up to cottage, but this is not a problem for normal cars. As the owners state, the cottage itself has no phone signal or WiFi, although you can use WiFi in the owners porch. We originally thought having no WiFi would be a nice novelty, but we have to admit, we did start to miss it after a few days. This will be a personal choice. In summary, nice cottage, great location but make sure you are OK having limited phone and WiFi access.

Beautiful cottage in a stunning setting. Very well equipped and immaculately clean. Great power shower. Well equipped kitchen. Welcome pack including fresh milk. Midge spray is a must in summer. WiFi is available in the nearby houses porch and there is little or no phone signal (my idea of perfect but not everyones)The walk from the cottage up the glen is breathtaking. The road up to the cottage is single track, rough and undulating. Low slung cars may struggle. We hope to go again.
