+ Location is very good as only a short walk to Fort Augustus. + As you would expect, the accommodation was clean when we arrived. ( - apart from a few dead wasps on the window sills and floor)- cottage is dark, you need lighting on all the time. - nowhere comfortable to sit outside.- close to main road (which is not in the photos or description).- we had a problem with wasps while we were there.

Lovely wee cottage. Great location for walks on the door step. Walking distance to shops and pubs. Fantastic sitting by the Caledonian Canal with a drink after walking our dog, watching the boats go by. Cottage is well equipped. Just be mindful of the stairs to the bedrooms as they are quite steep.
