A beautiful cosy cottage in a good location with an easy 15 minute walk into Fort Augustus with shops, pubs & coffee shops.Although secluded, a blind at the bathroom window would have been appreciated. Bigger signs to direct drivers to the cottage from the main road would also be helpful especially when arriving in the dark. One thing for anyone going to this lovely cottage - ensure you have a torch for dark morning or nights. And if you’re taking a dog keep them on a lead - bunnies, pheasants & sheep kept our spaniel occupied! Otherwise the cottage thoroughly met our needs and we were able to explore the beautiful Loch Ness & its surroundings.

Such a lovely quiet location. Cottage was clean, tidy and had all the things you need.... including bottle opener.Lady who owns the cottage was lovely and came to check everything was ok.Fort Augustus was just a minutes drive and such a scenic pretty village. There's only 1 food shop in the village but does stay open until about 7ish, so dont get caught out otherwise you'll be hungry or have a 50 minute drive to Fort William or Inverness. So many places to visit within a 45 minute drive. Loved the cottage and will definitely be staying here again when we next come up
