Guests consistently mention the cottage’s cleanliness, comfort, and well-equipped kitchen, making it a cosy home from home. Many appreciate the easy access to the beach, dolphin watching, and local amenities. While a few minor maintenance issues and suggestions for additional amenities are noted, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, with many guests eager to return.

Multiple reviews highlight the cottage as spotlessly clean and well maintained, with only rare minor comments about towel sizes. Cleanliness is a consistent strength.

The location is universally praised for its proximity to the sea, beautiful views, and easy access to local attractions such as Chanonry Point and Fortrose village.

The cottage is described as well equipped, with a good kitchen and thoughtful decor. Some guests mention minor maintenance issues (e.g., shower power, floor covering, missing kitchen items), but these do not detract significantly from the overall experience.

Some guests mention a welcome pack (milk and shortbread), but note it could be more generous. While thoughtful touches are appreciated, gifts or extras are not guaranteed and may vary.

We had a lovely stay, same as before. The rooms, cleanliness and atmosphere was great. Sea views, local shops, the Cathedral- it has it all for us. Could imagine living there in a peaceful setting. Great location to visit attractions, shopping in Inverness and head further north for day trips to Ullapool, Wick or Mey. Would love to return in the future.

Perfect location to enjoy the peaceful coast and watch the dolphins at Chanory Point.Spotlessly clean and generally high quality finish in bathroom and generally throughout the property. The only detraction was the floor covering in the dining room was very scruffy and needs replacing, but easily fixed.

Absolutely beautiful cottage in a stunning location. Everything was perfect. Comfortable beds, lovely shower and a well equipped kitchen - a real home from home experience but with better views!!The only addition that would enhance the property would be a handrail in the bathroom to make getting in and out the shower easier.Loved sitting in the garden looking out over the Moray Firth for my morning cuppa!
