Guests have praised the holiday rental for its cleanliness, comfortable furnishings, and thoughtful touches such as welcome gifts. The location is ideal for exploring the Scottish Highlands, with easy access to local attractions. While there are minor maintenance issues mentioned, the overall sentiment is highly positive, with the property providing a well-equipped base for a pleasant stay.
The property consistently receives high marks for cleanliness, with multiple reviews noting it as very clean and well-maintained. One mention of dog hair and a blocked bath drain suggests minor room for improvement.
The location is frequently highlighted as superb, central, and convenient for exploring the Highlands, with proximity to key destinations. The presence of a nearby hotel for dining adds to the appeal.
Comfort is generally well-regarded, with the property described as homely and well-furnished. Some guests found the beds a bit firm, indicating a slightly varied experience in comfort.
Facilities are appreciated, with mentions of a well-equipped kitchen and good utilities. However, there are comments about blunt knives and a blocked bath drain, suggesting some maintenance is needed.
Guests appreciate the thoughtful welcome gifts, including whisky and sweets, which add a personal touch to their stay. It is noted, however, that such gifts are a delightful surprise and not guaranteed.

It might be good to clarify that it is a rear unit and does not face the road. But once inside, everything about the place was excellent. Very clean and well maintained. Thank you for the great facility! The following is not for publication, only to let owners know of light issue: (I was not able to get the lights in the bathroom mirror to work. I pulled the string inside the medicine cabinet, but no light came on. Perhaps the bulbs are out?).

Perfect location for hill-walking and visiting the Scottish Highlands. Hotel next door is available for meals and there is a restaurant a short distance along the road.

We found it warm & comfortable with most things we needed provided. A better kitchen knife would be most useful. There was only a tiny paring knife & a very long carving knife, both of which were totally blunt & so not at all effective. However we managed, another time I would bring a knife just in case. The only other thing to mention is that the bath/shower drainage hole was almost completely blocked, water taking a very long time to drain away. I had to remove a very large amount of matted hair & 'gunk' from the drain, There was a high strength drain clearing gel (well used) in the cupboard so I think this must have been a problem for a while! Perhaps mention to the cleaner that this should be regularly cleared of hair? Overall a good place to stay which would be improved with these minor changes.
