I had a lovely relaxing stay with my 2 dogs, who love the very secure garden and separate little wooded area. The chocolate brownies were gorgeous and the dogs ate the bonios and dentasticks. Weather iffy this year but Scotland in late September is unpredictable. No dramas with storms this year! Lots of dog walking from the cottage which is a bonus if the weather is iffy. Already booked for next year.

this is a very small cottage. you enter into the living room which is very dark but is lovely at night time with the lights and fire on. the kitchen is well supplied and in good order and there is a very bright and warm, when sunny, small conservatory. it however needs repair - the rain comes in from a broken rone. it didnt spoil our use of it though. the bathroom is very nice with plenty beautiful large towels. the shower pressure isnt wonderful but ok. the "double" bedroom has an old, very small double (4 by 6?) with a soft mattress. fine for one person or two very friendly people and not good if you've got a dodgy back. the house was warm, the garden lovely and nice area from cottage and further afield. the owners seemed very nice.

Just back from a week at Foresters Cottage and can thoroughly recommend it. The cottage had everything we needed and more. It was very dog friendly with a large fully enclosed garden. Walks straight from the door but also only a few minutes from the A9 making exploring the area very easy. Will definitely visit again when back in the area.
