The perfect couples sanctuary and a great base for exploring Ardnamurchan, Glen Finnan, Mallaig and the Nevis Range. Cottage was spotlessly clean and fully equipped with everything you need for a self catering holiday. Our host was exceptional, very welcoming and friendly, she’s really created a home from home. The ever changing views of the loch, deer and red squirrels in the garden and a daily parade of ducks made this a very special stay. We stocked up with food at Fort William as we knew the cottage was in a remote location accessible by a single track road and wanted to spend our days exploring.

We absolutely loved our stay at this gorgeous property. Our host Alice was so friendly and welcoming - instantly making us feel at home. The cottage was clean, well equipped and the perfect size for my husband and I. It has lovely views of the Loch and is only about a 30min drive to Fort William where there are shops, cafes and restaurants. We also drove up to a lovely beach - Camusdarach - and stopped at the nearby town of Mallaig for lunch. 100% recommend and we definitely plan to return!

This cottage gave us everything we hoped and more! We have stayed in lots of cottages but this has been the best by far. Super clean, with everything you could wish for, comfortable beds and sofas, smart tv's (even in the bedroom) good wifi and a wonderful host where nothing was too much trouble. It is a rural location so a 35 minute drive to Fort William but it is a beautiful drive and the view from the cottage was wonderful so it is well worth it. The Glenfinnian viaduct is only a short drive away, Mallaig just an hour so plenty to do in the area. The only problem we found is that we are now spoilt for any other cottage as this one will be very hard to beat!
