The accommodation itself is characterful and spacious. Easter Dalziel Farm is to the east of Inverness, along the old road to Nairn, less than a mile from the sea and only a few miles from a pebbly beach where you can spot resident bottenose dolphins every day of the year. Sandy beaches await in Nairn or across the Moray Firth on the Black Isle at Rosemarkie, which is another excellent place to spot the dolphins. The Highland capital Inverness is very close and offers so much to visitors. Loch Ness is only 10 minutes further on to the west from the city and the road beyond beckons to the west coast, Isle of Skye and Ben Nevis. The NC500 starts and finishes in Inverness so you can easily pick this world-famous touring route up and head north to explore some more iconic spots. To the south, only 40 minutes by car you can be in Aviemore in the Cairngorms National Park hiking, biking, skiing, the list goes on. To the east beyond historic Nairn the Moray Coast, with amazing fishing villages awaits, as does the Speyside Whisky Trail. When not rushing around in the car you may want to either simply relax at the cottage and watch the sheep and lambs as well as Highland ‘coos’ and calves come and go. It’s a pastoral scene that you’ll never tire of. There’s also excellent fly-fishing nearby with some of the most famous salmon rivers in the world only a short drive away. Golf courses are of a very high standard and plentiful too - Castle Stuart Links is only a few hundred yards away, and Nairn has two championship links courses to play as well. We urge you to book Pine Cottage and be sure of a decision well made - a wonderful Highland holiday awaits! Beach 3½ miles.

Cottage was in a central location for all the local amenities. Neil was on hand to answer any queries we had and came to the cottage to I produce himself and give us a bit of an insight to the area. Even though the cottage is near the airport it wasn't a problem. Local dairy down the road had flavoured milk and an assortment of cheese which was available everyday. The only downside is the WIFI connection due to the thick was of the. Cottage walls being so thick. Most tourist attractionns such as loch Ness and Fort Augustus are with a 2 hour drive from the property. Fantastic information book available In the property. Had a fab stay in the cottage. Would definitely return

Beautiful cottage, lovely location. Well equipped for our one week stay. The children in our party were thrilled with the provision of Easter decorations plus Easter baskets and chocolate eggs to do our own egg hunt. Neil, the host, left us to settle for a day or so before calling over to check that everything was ok and if there was anything we needed. This being our second stay, we were familiar with the layout and knew where to find him if necessary. It's far enough out to feel like 'proper' countryside, but with several major supermarkets and a substantial retail park less than 15mins drive. We had a few drives out to enjoy some of the local parks and walks, including a small beach and a walk through the woods to a waterfall. Despite it being narrow in parts and uphill it was managed by our whole party, ranging from nearly 3 up to mid sixties. Ice creams all round helped us along the way!
