Brightwater Cottage is in a beautiful location but be prepared to drive at least 10 miles for a local shop or 20+ for a super market. The PitStop cafe/dinner at Kintail is highly recommended, great food and lovely staff. The cottage itself is warm and comfortable but could do with a spruce up and a deep clean if I'm honest. No welcome pack provided so make sure you arrive with some basic supplies like milk, bread, butter. No towels (as expected) and only one dish towel!Recommend taking the ferry from Glenelg over to Skye, great experience and fantastic scenery.

Lovely cosy cottage. In the most Amazing location with an Amazing drive over was a lot more remote than I expected. Which I loved. Nice little shop in Glenelg. Ruth’s Cafe on the way into Glenelg very friendly nice to stop for a coffee or lunch on the way in or out.
