The cottage is situated just outside the small, friendly village of Corran, Arnisdale and has been rebuilt from the ground up and completed in August 2006. It boasts some of the most beautiful scenery in Scotland with views across the loch to the Isle of Skye and beyond. Corran comes with a well-stocked/old-fashioned shop, which stocks all the essentials you could need. The nearest pub/inn can be found in Glenelg, which is 10 miles away and you’ll always find a warm welcome! For the outdoor enthusiasts amongst us, there is a fantastic selection of coastal and hill walks available, providing the opportunity to enjoy the abundance of wildlife this area has to offer. There is a munro directly above the village, and hill fishing may also be available on arrangement with the estate.

Place is situated in a breathtaking place where you have views that are outstanding, plenty of wildlife to see. Remember to take everything you need as there is not shops for miles. Only thing I would say negative about the place they provide washing machine but no liquid or tablets are provided. Dish washer tablets there were only 5 and we were there for 7 nights. Very small amount of washing up liquid, 2 toilet rolls and 2 black bags. I normally take all that sort of stuff with me but I forgot. However the price you pay for the accommodation I do not know why this is not all provided. Apart from that the place is ideal if you want away from the world. Would defo return and will remember to take all the stuff required next time.
