Private parking for 4 cars. No smoking. Please note: The property has a natural water supply. There are 3 steps and slopes in the garden. Sorry, no hen or stag parties.. Loch Long View sits in a commanding position high above the water on its own spacious plateau, with far reaching views of the loch and surrounding mountains. The cottage has been thoughtfully constructed with an exterior of Siberian larch, which has aged beautifully and compliments the dark green framed windows. Set within a 500-acre croft, there are sheep and Highland cows roaming the hillsides, as well as lots of other wildlife including red deer, pine marten and a variety of eagles. There is plenty of space around the cottage and a large garden. At the back of the house and up the hill is an unfenced loch, home to brown trout.
The interior has French oak flooring throughout. On the ground floor there is a dual-aspect kitchen with lots of natural light and views along the length of Loch Long. The large living room has a grand wood burner to cosy up infront of, and there is a bathroom also on the ground floor.
The French oak continues to flow up to the first floor, and with the abundance of natural light, works really well giving the two bedrooms a very spacious and calming feel, especially as the windows act as frames featuring the surrounding Highland landscape. Both the master bedroom and the twin bedroom, have unsurpassed views along the loch and the mountains. There is a bathroom between the bedrooms leading off the large landing.
Loch Long View is perfectly placed to explore the Isle of Skye with the bridge across to the island only 10 minutes’ away by car. Wester Ross with its highlights of Applecross and Torridon for more mountains and secluded coastline are also close by. Shop, pub and restaurant 3½ miles.

Loch Long View is a nature lovers dream. Set in an elevated position above the loch with stunning views across the mountains it is breathtaking. The house is warm and welcoming and perfect for exploring the Western Highlands and the Isle of Skye. We loved it.

The final 4 km to the cottage is a single-track road that includes a fairly steep climb up to an elevation of 60 metres right by the house. But the reward is well worth it: a magnificent view in a wonderfully peaceful setting. Every day, we enjoyed the view over the tidal loch and the five sheep that came to visit. The spacious house is comfortably furnished and fully equipped. The hosts, Julianna and Joachan, were incredibly helpful.

Absolutely outstanding views🥰great cottage ,fantastic location,lots of beautiful walks with a dog ,very friendly and helpful owners.One of the best place we've stayed in and we go to Scotland a lot for holidays. Definitely it is a must stay location .Loved it
