The location is simply stunning. Even though we didn't have the best weather, we were still able to sit outside, under cover, every day. The views across Loch Duich to the Five Sisters are awesome and as is the case for much of Scotland, the scenery changes every five minutes. The accommodation is comfortable and spacious and has everything you need. Everything was clean and working. I've seen other reviews saying the decor is dated. I disagree. I think it suits the property perfectly. Only criticism (apart from having to come home) is that it would be nice to have a bathroom, or at least toilet, upstairs. If you're looking for nightlife, this isn't for you. This is peaceful, tranquil, a place to relax and unwind. Having said that, there is walking/hiking galore for all abilities.Eilean Donan, arguably the most picturesque castle in Scotland, is only a short drive. The Isle of Skye and Fort William are further afield, but the drive is easy.Places to eat out are limited and not cheap, although there are also some nice cafes and bakeries for a snack.Make sure you have midge repellent.
