Amongst the many amenities available in this lovely seaside resort, Nairn boasts a beautiful sandy beach where you perhaps could catch sight of the Moray Firth dolphins, two championship golf courses and another 40 courses within easy reach and many attractive shops, pubs and restaurants to name but a few. Sandy Beach makes the perfect base for exploring the Scottish Highlands – Culloden Battlefield, Fort George, Loch Ness and the Highland capital of Inverness are just a short drive. Visit the historic Cawdor and Brodie Castles or the ruins of Urquhart Castle on the shores of Loch Ness. There is a wide selection of watersports and boat trips available along with many mountain bike trails, forest walks and, for the less energetic, perhaps fishing or birdwatching. We returned to Sandy Beach 10 years after our first stay there. It is a beautiful house with pretty much everything you could need. It is set in a peaceful location and the shops and beach are only a short walk away.The house was lovely and clean and well equipped for our party of 7.The only 2 things that we think would make it absolutely perfect are, having bigger bath sheets and a tumble dryer.It is somewhere that we would definitely consider returning to for a 3rd time.

2 couples went to Nairn to play in the Nairn Dunbar 4 day seniors competition and we chose Sandy Beach for a few reasons: closeness to Nairn Dunbar golf club so we could walk to the club; 2 bathrooms in the property; and loads of space including a garage to store our clubs in overnight.The house was very clean, had everything we needed. The 2nd double bed could do with a chest of drawers. The beds were OK, but Kingsize would be an improvement when they are being replaced. The showers were super.we loved it so much we have booked again!
