Set in its own rural garden grounds in an elevated position above Aird Bay in the spectacular north of Skye, Green Hill is a traditional croft cottage. Accessed via its own track and with wonderful views across the sea, it offers peace and seclusion in a superb setting. Green Hill has a large kitchen/dining room with AGA cooker (owners charge an extra £45 per week for use due to high running oil costs). There is also a modern electric cooker in the adjoining kitchen annexe. The bright, modern conservatory extension doubles as the main lounge. With feature open fireplace and superb views from all angles, it is a delightful room to sit and enjoy the stunning sunsets this area is renowned for, as well as the ever changing seascape. There are two attractive bedrooms on the first floor and with a bathroom and a walk in shower room; the cottage is ideal for two couples or a family of four. Just 300 yards away is Aird Bay and harbour. A delightful spot to enjoy a waterside walk, fish from the rocks or even launch your own boat from the old fishing boat slipway.
There is an additional charge of £45 if you request the use of the Aga, this is to cover the fuel cost. The height of the stair banister is less than 1m. There is a sea 300 yards from property.

Green hill is a great cottage. Spacious, light, airy with amazing views. Glynis was welcoming, with good communication and clear instructions. We loved the location. It is well situated to get to all the northern Skye icons, and is overlooked by the stunning Quiraing. Only a relatively short drive(in Skye terms) is The Hungry Gull at Staffin. This is a must try restaurant, with great food and staff. In the other direction is Uig, again not a massive drive, but highly recommend booking a table at the Ferry Inn. Amazing fresh local seafood. Green hill has everything needed to relax and unwind, and explore the stunning scenery of Skye. We would definitely book again should we return to Skye.

Beautiful peaceful relaxing setting with amazing views. Such a comfortable cosy place to stay. Our dogs loved it, particularly watching the rabbits in the garden.
