Sitting in the enviable location of Spean Bridge, Scottish Highlands with outstanding views of the Ben Nevis mountain range is this large, detached house of Masada. An ideal base for a large family of 14's getaway, not only does the house boast views, but access to climbing, watersports and nature reserves. When arriving at the marvellous property, park up in one of the six off-road spaces, before soaking up the glorious vista and mature gardens surrounding Masada. Continue inside, where a fabulous hallway with seating and a grand piano welcomes you. Make your way into a spacious sitting room, where those exceptional views are framed by the bay windows and three plush sofas offer you a seat in front of the crackling open fire and the TV. After unwinding with your loved ones, move through the property to the fantastic kitchen/diner, a space boasting a great array of appliances that will appease any aspiring chef. Just off the kitchen is the utility, where two double fridges, two freezers and laundry facilities can be found. When dinner has been fixed up, enjoy it over a bottle of wine in the formal dining room with your loved ones. Freshen up before bed in one of four bathrooms, with two of these located on the ground floor, a shower room and a cloakroom with a separate WC, and the latter two situated on the first floor, consisting of a contemporary bathroom enjoying both a bath and a walk-in shower, as well as an additional shower room. When sleep calls, choose one of seven tastefully decorated bedrooms to rest in, one of which is situated on the ground floor that is ideal for multi-generational breaks, and the other six bedrooms resting upstairs. Completing the interior of the property is a drying room, where you can neatly store away any ski, watersports and climbing gear. To the rear of the property is a large, enclosed garden which offers a large lawn for you and your three canine companions to enjoy, as well as a patio for alfresco dining. Get to know Spean Bridge and wander into the heart of the village where three fantastic eateries, including the popular bar/restaurant of Old Station, along with the marvellous Spean Bridge Golf Club and the winding River Spean await. Those seeking some adventure will certainly enjoy excursions to the Ben Nevis mountain range, where the dramatic sights of Ben Nevis, Stobe Coire Easain and Chno Dearg can be climbed; the range is also home to a superb ski resort, where you can strap on your skis and spend a day on the slopes! Spend some time in Caol, a coastal village with a quaint beach, along with the sights of Old Inverlochy Castle and the famed Ben Nevis Distillery. There is still so much more waiting to be discovered in the wider area, with Fort William offering memorable days out for all the family, as well as the nearby Lochs, Allt Mhuic Butterfly and Glen Roy National Nature Reserves appealing to those nature enthusiasts of the group. A brilliant stay amidst the stunning Scottish Highlands awaits you and those who mean most at Masada!
Spean Bridge is located in the parish of Kilmonivaig in the magnificent Scottish Highlands. Spean Bridge got its name from the Highbridge over the Spean River, and the community is now a delightful tourist destination with transportation links extending north to Inverness and south to Fort William. Fort William, the major town in the Western Highlands, is located on the shores of Loch Linnhe and has a broad range of stores and pubs that provide an excellent assortment of meals.
