We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful traditional home from home and we felt very relaxed in this gorgeous location too. Super communication with owners when we had a TV issue. If you can tear yourself away from the views (from many windows in this house, especially the sunroom) the house is in a great central position to visit Eilean Donan Castle, the Isle of Skye, Torridon, Applecross and Gairloch and more!We wouldn't hesitate to stay at Lochcarron Lodge if returning to this area - you won't be disappointed.

We had a wonderful stay at this cottage in the Scottish Highlands. The property was exactly as described – perfect in every way. It was spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped, making it ideal for a family stay. The cottage itself was very comfortable and cosy, creating a real home-from-home feel. The views are beautiful, and the location offers excellent access to many parts of the Highlands. The village of Lochcarron has a couple of shops and a petrol station, so all the essential amenities are close at hand. Our favourite part of the property was the orangery extension off the kitchen. It was warm, cosy, and offered fantastic views. We were lucky enough to have snow during the last couple of days of our stay, which made the experience even more special. The children absolutely loved playing in the front garden and building snowmen. The host was also incredibly friendly and accommodating, kindly allowing us flexibility with our departure time as we waited for the snowplough to clear the roads.Overall, it was a wonderful stay and we would happily recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located, and welcoming place to stay in the Highlands.
