Bayview is a lovely cottage sitting in an elevated position looking west across the Dornoch Firth. The cottage is ideal accommodation for a relaxing break away from the mainstream. The cottage has all the facilities you could possibly need, is only 2 minutes walk from the village shop/Post Office (which stocks all you would need for a long or short stay), the local Restaurant on the Sea Front and the local pub which offers lovely bar meals. The cottage is dominated by its fantastic view (and outdoor decking area) looking west across the Dornoch Firth to Tain, Dornoch and Golspie up the coast. Notwithstanding the lovely places to visit nearby, should the day be clear, fantastic sunsets are available to view from the cottage (have your camera ready for the picture taking!). A wonderful village (Portmahomack) and great accommodation (Bayview Cottage) - both highly recommended.

We loved our stay at Bayview - the cottage was lovely, very well laid out to maximise the amazing views.Lovely to be able to wander down to the beach and call in at the super handy local shop. The little cafe in Portmahomack was lovely. Location worked perfectly for exploring The Highlands. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds super comfy. On the damp days to come back and light the log burner and look out at the bay was pretty perfect!
