Such a lovely cottage! Warm, cozy, comfortable beds, and everything you could possibly need. Darren & Ali are fantastic hosts who would be happy to do anything you need, obviously experienced hosts! The garden is perfect for the pooches to stretch their legs in a safe place; it's very secure. We loved Portmahomack, but do take a trip over to Dornoch Beach! It stretches for miles, very clean & sandy. Also, Rosemarkie is definitely worth a trip - coffee at the cafe on the front is lovely.

Before my holiday i recieved such a detailed welcome email. With such detailed travel details, accommodation details ect on it. Upon arrival at the cottage the views where beautiful. The cottage was so lovely and spotlessly clean! The welcome pack was amazing and much appreciated after the long journey. Kitchen was very well equipped with everything that was needed. Beds super comfy. Garden was big and was secure for my dog to be out there. Lovely local walks with amazing views. Highly recommend anyone to come here for a peaceful relaxing break. Thank you for a fantastic holiday.

We enjoyed our Christmas at East Tarrel Cottages very much. Darren & Ali really went the extra mile and more to ensure we had a great time. Extremely well decorated for the holiday. Loads of Christmas goodies and even a Christmas present each. The only minor criticism is the lack of bedside table on one side in the main bedroom and very low ceiling on the other, such that I cracked my head painfully several times. Perhaps there is a way to reorganise the furniture to avoid this hazard. However, I would still highly recommend this cottage.
