This modern property boasts four bedrooms making it the perfect home-from-home for friends and families to share quality time together in the Highlands. Sitting just off the NC500, in the heart of Easter Ross, Darna House offers the peace and tranquillity associated with a semi-rural location but with the added bonus of being in a great position from which to explore the Highlands. Whether you prefer sandy beaches or rock pools the choice is yours with Portmahomack, Dornoch Beach, Shandwick Bay and Tain Link all close-by. If golf is your thing then you’ll have your pick with Tain and Tarbat Golf Courses nearby and the world number 1 ranked Royal Dornoch Golf Club just a short 15-minute drive north. Other nearby outdoor activities include horse riding, mountain biking, fishing and paddle boarding.
This detached house is very spacious and provides seating for eight in the open-plan kitchen, dining and living room with bi-fold doors leading out to a partially covered area with outdoor seating. One super kingsize bedroom and shower room are on the ground floor and a further three bedrooms and a family bathroom are on the first floor. Two of the rooms can be set as twin or super kingsize beds and the other is a twin.
You’ll find supermarkets nearby in Tain as well as the local butchers and bakers. Enjoy a visit to Anta, The Tain Pottery and to Glass storm, with workshops on-site it’s a great opportunity to see their wears brought to life. In the summer months there is a short ferry crossing across to Cromarty in the black Isle. If you don’t fancy cooking, choose from any of the many local eateries.

We had a weeks stay at Darna house and it was an amazing experience. Its an absolutely beautiful house with everything you need in there. There was plenty of space for 8 of us. Its pristine clean and very private with a lot of space outside. Very scenic and lot of walks nearby. We managed to do a lot in that one week and we had a very relaxing time at the house. I would highly recommend the place for 2 families who want to explore Invernes and highland.

There were five of us staying in the house for a week. On Friday, the internet wasn't working properly. On Monday, the technician came and installed a new router. Great service. A very nice house.
