This detached holiday bungalow is set in a quiet area of the village of Carrbridge, sheltered by mature trees, and ideally positioned for woodland walks which are close by and touring the Cairngorm National Park. All on one floor with good furnishings and fittings, the multi-fuel burner makes it a cosy property at any time of the year. Aviemore, 7 miles, is known for its good walking as well as riding, watersports and many outdoor activities. Inverness is 24 miles away where you can visit castles, museums, or take a walk along the river banks. There is golf locally less than a mile away, a championship course in Aviemore and another championship course at Nairn, on the Moray Firth Coastline. Near to the property is a bowling green, bike park and children’s playground. Landmark, Scotland’s most exciting family Forest Adventure Park is 350 yards. Further south, in Kingussie, is the Highland Wildlife Park where wolves, Siberian tigers and a host of other animals can be seen. There are many historical houses and castles in the area to visit or follow the Whisky Trail to the numerous distilleries. Great hillwalking, bird watching, off road cycling, mountain biking, climbing and golfing can be also found in the region (storage is available for all outdoor sports equipment). Regular train service from Carrbridge. There is lots to see and do for all ages. Shop, pub and restaurants 300 yards.

Tall Pines was the very best equipped cottage that we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in a great number over the years, it was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and spacious, comfortable beds, which is not always the case in a lot of holiday cottages. Carrbridge was a good location for getting to visit places, The Folk Village was a lovely day out, we saw the dolphins, the Highland Wildlife Park with the polar bears, Balmoral Castle and many more places. We all had a great fortnight and did not want to go home. Fiona Chandler the owner was very nice and helpful

House was really lovely and cosy. Very well kitted out in the kitchen. Wood burner was great. Living room and beds very comfortable. Very clean. Beautiful autumnal view from living room and kitchen, sun in back garden in the afternoon which was nice. Parking good for our two cars. Quiet as off the main road. Will definitely return.
