Cuillin View is a beautiful cottage which has been treated with great love and care in keeping it looking like the traditional cottage that it is. Sitting in front of the wood burner in the evening reminiscing on the day’s adventures and planning for the next, you don’t need to go far to have a great day as you have the option to go to the local beach in Torrin. Cuillin View is a great location to be based for touring the island, the nearest town is Broadford which is 6 miles away, whilst the main town of Portree is 25 miles north. The journey to Cuillin View can be made on one of the ferries which take you to the south of the island, or the famous Skye bridge, whichever way you will have wonderful and dramatic scenery to view. This magnificent island is steeped in local history and landmarks; if you enjoy hiking you can climb the Cuillins or Blaven Mountain.
Go on one of the Elgol boat trips and see Skye from the outside in, or visit Neist Point Lighthouse which is the most westerly tip of Skye. The Fairy Pools are situated at the base of the Cuillins, a short drive from Tallisker distillery. On the north of the island, you can visit the dinosaur footprints, the Old man of Storr or the Quirang for scenic walks. Scottish Licence Number HI-30108-F

A beautifully presented cottage in a wonderfully quiet location with views of the nearby hills. You’ve got everything that you are likely to need for your stay. As other reviews have stated, the nature of the cottage means that the headroom in places upstairs is restricted but didn’t cause us a major issue. It’s a short drive to the nearby shops and facilities and whilst we didn’t manage to try them, there are a couple of small cafe / coffee options within the hamlet. A perfect location for our week long stay.

I stayed at Cuillin View on the Isle of Skye. The croft we stayed in was extremely well presented and with everything you could wish for. The views were out of this world with two very large mountains back and side of us. If you stay be prepared for a lot of hard climbing.At the bottom of the village you can climb to the Fairy Falls make sure to have waterproofs with you.

What an amazing place!! We have been there for 3 days during our round trip through Scotland and I loved the cottage so much! ideal for us 3 as a familiy, we could cook, we were hiking in the area, had some very good cakes and coffee at Amys close by and enjoyed the fire place in the living room in the evening! Thank you very much and we can highly recommend this place! :-)
