Lovely cottage with everything you would need, but it's the location that really does it, loch side, stunning views and sunsets, big secure garden, dog friendly and remote. The perfect getaway. This was our 6th winter visit and would happily return but the increasing cost is now becoming prohibitive for us.

This cottage is about location, secluded with a very long driveway, fantastic views out over Loch Lomond and the surrounding mountains. Walks and hikes straight from the door............it is a bit of a drive to get to other places, but that was no hassle. For us, we wanted peace and quiet and the space for 2 German Shepherds to run....and all of that was in abundance As for the cottage, comfortably furnished, warm (too warm at times😁). Loved outlr 2 weeks, gutted when it came time to leave. If I had some grumbles.......TV was tiny and difficult to watch, the times I bumped my head on the door frame into the kitchen and coming out of the shower 🥺🥺......I am 6'3" though. We would rebook without hesitation.

The cottage was perfect for us (a couple with a dog). We loved getting away from it all and had a wonderful week in this perfect home from home. The long driveway to the cottage felt grand and it was fantastic to be truly detached! Our closest neighbours were geese, a deer and an owl. We needed the car to head out for supplies and to get to local places of interest, but that wasn't a problem. Ben Lomond and Conic Hill were only a short drive. We were able to swim in the loch at the bottom of the property and the garden was well equipped for sitting out and enjoying the sunshine. We were impressed with all the kitchen equipment and everything was well stocked to keep on top of washing the dishes. Everything had been thought of. I can't recommend highly enough and would love to return.
