Great break in this cottage the rear enclosed garden was perfect for the dogs, a very noisy and sometimes busy road at front with speeding cars vans trucks going past the cottage, could be doing with a bit of TLC but after a busy season with dogs allowed its only whats expected lovely bathroom deep bath with overhead shower and the log fire was a must in the evening as the week we had was showery and windy all round great break and would recommend the cottage for a break

This is a lovely remote cottage situated a few miles outside Tomintoul. It has a large enclosed garden which is ideal for dogs. The surroundings attract numerous birds and wildlife. There is no WIFI which is either a blessing or not. Tomintoul itself has a cash point, local shops and a couple of restaurants. You are on the edge of the Cairngorms National park which offers many forest and river walks. The Glenlivet estate has lots of walks that are demonstrated on information boards around the park. There are also plenty of whisky distilleries on your doorstep to visit.
