Guests are generally pleased with Lossiemouth Bay Cottage, praising its beautiful decor, spaciousness, and cleanliness. The property's location in a stunning part of Scotland is appreciated, and the snooker table is a popular feature. The helpfulness of staff members Xana and Tony is frequently commended. Some guests mention minor maintenance issues and a lack of certain amenities, but these do not significantly detract from the overall positive experience.
The property is often described as clean and immaculate, with specific compliments to the housekeeping staff. However, a few guests noted minor issues such as a sticky couch and fingerprinted mirror, which slightly mar the overall high standards of cleanliness.
The cottage's location is highly praised for being perfect and stunning, with good views from the property. There are no negative comments about the location, indicating that guests are very satisfied with it.
Comfort is rated highly, with guests finding the property very comfortable and well-decorated. Some guests mentioned the lack of blackout blinds and the property being cool, which suggests room for improvement in ensuring complete comfort for all guests.
Facilities like the snooker table and provided slippers and dressing gowns are appreciated, but several reviews mention issues such as unavailable hot tub, closed swimming pool, and minor maintenance needs. These indicate that while facilities are good, there is a need for better maintenance and availability of advertised features.
There is no mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches beyond the standard provision of amenities. Therefore, it is not possible to assess the thoughtfulness of the hosts in terms of extra gestures, and the score is set to null.

Lovely and cool features, showers and bath amazing, some unique and interesting features. 5 star all over but there were some small maintenance issues needing checked. 2 toilet seats should be replaced - Orange bedroom en-suite & Utility WC. The kitchen tap needs tightened probably underneath and the panel under the oven fell off easily. The roof terrace didn't look safe and we didnt not try to access, though it was never good enough weather and there is a dead seagull on it. I would say the sofas in the area next to the kitchen were a little small (we are big people!!). A smart TV would be ideal somewhere, they are a little dated. We never worked out how to connect to the internal internet but we had decent 4g signal. Overall we loved the house. Cheers!

A part from this we would book again

The location is perfect and a stunning part of Scotland. A special thanks must go to Xana and Tony, whose hard work keeps this place immaculate. My only criticism is, the snooker table is a main feature of the lovely cottage. The table, desperately needs recovered and cushions replaced, Nevertheless I would certainly recommend this cottage.
