Guests say

Burncliff is a charming and spacious cottage, ideal for families and large groups, praised for its location, comfort, and thoughtful touches like a welcome hamper. Guests enjoyed the well-equipped kitchen, cozy Aga, and comfortable beds, though some noted the mattresses could be improved. The property's proximity to the beach and local amenities in Brodick and Blackwaterfoot adds to its appeal, despite minor issues with cleanliness and maintenance.

Most guests found Burncliff to be comfortable and well-maintained, though a few mentioned the presence of spiders and cobwebs. The overall impression is that the property is clean, but there is room for improvement in this area.

The cottage's location is highly praised for its stunning views, proximity to the beach, local shops, and amenities. It serves as a great base for exploring the island, contributing to a positive experience for the guests.

Guests generally found the cottage to be warm, cozy, and comfortable, with plenty of space for families. Some guests mentioned the beds were small and uncomfortable, but this was not a universal sentiment.

The property is well-equipped with a kitchen, utility room, and enclosed garden. However, some guests noted the lack of a BBQ, outside table, and issues with kitchen lights, suggesting that while facilities are good, there is room for improvement in maintenance.

The welcome hamper and the owner's responsiveness are frequently mentioned, indicating a high level of thoughtfulness. However, it should be noted that such personal touches, while appreciated, may not be guaranteed for every stay.

A lovely place for our two families to stay. Plenty of space for us all. Was lovely to walk down to the sea of an evening. The little basket of Arran produce was a nice touch.

If you want a quiet country rental for a large group, this would be a good choice. Updates have been made so that you can be comfortable while still experiencing an old Arran home.
