A holiday on Arran packs in a lot of flavours - taste your way around the island as you try creamy cheeses, refreshing beers, traditional oatcakes, tempting chocolates and delicious ice cream. Book a tour at the Arran Distillery to discover the secrets behind the distilling process before sampling a dram of malt whisky or the creamy liqueur Arran Gold. The cottage is well appointed and comfortable. My only issue is the heating system; as it is a heat pump system, I doubt that the cottage would be adequately warm in the winter months. There is very little heat in the radiators and the hot water is limited. We have stayed twice, once in the summer and then during a mild October week, so the heating was not an issue. I am sure that it would not be adequate in the winter. We would stay again, but only during summer or early autumn months

An excellent property modernised to a high standard and well equipped. In a rural setting with an attractive garden. The only problem was that the back door was unlocked and had no key. The cottages team did secure the back door with a new key but this took about 48 hours. The last half mile to the house is via a rough track which has many potholes in places, though this was not a problem for us if taken slowly.

Lovely cottage, well equipped, warm and comfortable. Accessed up a farm road so car essential although it's within walking distance of amenities in Brodick.
