For a unique experience, take a small ferry over to the Holy Isle and you will discover a friendly Buddhist community, where animals roam freely, including Saanen goats and Eriskay ponies. Lamlash Bay also offers sea kayaking and powerboat trips, so you can explore the bay at your own pace.
Local wildlife includes seals, often seen basking on rocks just offshore, otters, porpoises, and a variety of sea birds. A couple of miles south of the cottage, you will find the village of Whiting Bay with a friendly, relaxed atmosphere and a useful range of small independent shops. A forestry trail leads to the spectacular Glenashdale Falls and the prehistoric Giant’s Graves. Lovely house, very well stocked with everything you could need.Fab view out from the upstairs living room.Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Great having a large utility room with hanging spaces. Large spacious bedrooms.
