About this property

Cumbrae View is a ground floor flat situated in Largs, North Ayrshire. The property opens up to a spacious entrance hall, leading towards two bedrooms: one super king-size with an en-suite bathroom and WC, and one twin with an electric heater. There is also a family bathroom and WC. It has an open-plan living room, fitted kitchen and dining area with a fireplace. The living room houses a fantastic corner sofa, with seating for five, an armchair and a TV mounted on the wall, directly above the fireplace. There is a glass dining table and chairs, able to seat up to six guests. The kitchen area is fully equipped and ready to use for some excellent home-cooking. Outside has a balcony area with furniture, overlooking the shared garden with views overlooking the sea and is accessed via the living room. Off-road parking is available. Largs has a number of fantastic opportunities for guests to explore, including visiting Kelburn Castle, which was originally built in the 13th century and remodelled in the 16th century. It also has a country centre, with activities for the whole family. Also nearby is Largs beach, which makes for a fun, lazy day trip to relax and unwind, while the kids play. Located on the Firth of Clyde, the town of Largs is a traditional Scottish seaside resort, with a Victorian promenade, situated just over 30 miles from Glasgow. Largs offers a variety of shops, including some chain and some independent stores, plus there are several pubs and restaurants. Visit Vikingar, a family Viking experience or enjoy the amusement arcades on the promenade whilst indulging in an ice cream.

Note: Although parking on the property is for residents and guests use, there are no designated spots for disabled badge holders.

Due to the shortage of car parking spaces in the complex, it is requested that guests staying with multiple vehicles limit their parking in the complex to 1 vehicle, and that they park the remaining vehicle(s) on the main road a short distance away (<100m) at the entrance to the complex.

In addition, there are 2 steps at the front door into the complex which may hinder people with mobility problems.

Note: This property is suitable for one family only - with a limit of 4 people staying there including children and babies.

No hens, stags or similar.

Note: Although the main bathroom has a bath, there is insufficient hot water for a full immersion bath.The 2 hot water showers in the property are not affected as they are fed by cold water feed

    Jane was very helpful and showed us around, the apartment was lovely only downside was the car park it should have numbers in the bays so you know which one yours is and patio door was sticking, but we will come back it was like home from home and everyone you meet in the block was friendly

    The apartment is very well equipped and maintained and the bed is worthy of mention as it is very comfortable. Jane, who met us and promptly answered any queries which we had during the week, is lovely and the owners are very lucky to have her. Perhaps our age will probably mean that we won't undertake such a long journey in future but, if we do, we wouldn't dream of booking anywhere else. Many thanks. Bill&Ann Collin

    Another fantastic stay for us. Great weather was a bonus! Also loved a trip on the Waverley around Bute. Apartment is great - everything you need for a lovely stay in Largs. Quiet but just a few minutes walk into town. Thanks as always to Jane who is always so helpful. We plan to be back in February.
