Down a winding drive, this lovely cottage is set in well-maintained lawned gardens and screened from the road by the ancient forest surrounding it. Walk straight down to the shores of the loch from the house, or explore the many trails through the forest and scrubland. To find out more about the area and for stunning views across the loch, head to The Queen's View Visitor Centre, 4 miles away. Kinloch Rannoch, 3.5 miles from the house at the other end of the loch has a small village store, or drive to Pitlochry, 11 miles away, for more high street shopping, and some excellent restaurants, plus a golf course and another fascinating visitor centre at Pitlochry Dam.
The cottage has the perfect setting for your family celebration or gathering of friends, with a spacious layout both inside and out. The open-plan kitchen/dining room is a real treat, with a mezzanine sitting room above the kitchen, and soaring double ceiling over the table, plus superb loch views from both levels. With a modern oven, microwave, airfryer, electric hob and fridge, cooking for a group is made easy, and there's a useful second fridge & tall Freezer in the utility room too, as well as a washing machine and sink. The on-site games room with table tennis, darts and pool table will amuse older children for hours. The stylish living room is perfect for cosying up in on chilly evenings, boasting a wood burner with a supply of logs in the store outside and Sky TV. Three king-sized bedrooms are spread between the two floors, with some lovely extras such as hairdryers provided, and there is a twin bedroom upstairs. There are modern shower rooms on both floors and multi-jetted shower cubicles. One of the downstairs bedrooms also boasts its own en-suite bathroom.
On summer evenings, take dinner outside to the patio with a table for eight and watch the sun go down with a post-dinner drink while any children in the party enjoy the outside space.
