The cottage is great. Breathtaking location and views. Fabulous enclosed garden that we and our dogs adored. The kitchen has everything you need and bedrooms are comfortable . The only negative was, the smell in the downstairs bedroom. There had been a leak from a radiator in room above and although it had been rectified and redecorated. There was a damp smell in the room that needs some addressing. And to point out the TV only works on the apps, and my digital dinosaur tech skills found too difficult to figure. The area is beautiful with lots to do and entertain. We usually head for the west coast highlands, but would definitely come back here and hopefully use this cottage again. Would be useful to have some more extensive local info/maps etc. You can join the Rob Roy Way from the back of the garden, but only found that by luck because we walked up it from Strathtay Many thanks for a wonderful week.

The property is located up in the highlands above the valley of the river Tay. It is the most picturesque setting and truly breathtaking. It’s a little bit of a trek but worth it. The house is beautifully decorated and well furnished- perfect for a large family group. The location is well placed for exploring the local area and there’s plenty to do.

The cottage was lovely, but it lacked a few basic things, the guy who came at check out was unfriendly and rude, The track is unstable for anything but 4x4 damage to car sustained. They are now chasing for damages after letting sheep into garden.
