We were very much looking forward to our holiday in the glorious Scottish Borders. Katie had made us feel welcome before we had even arrived at our destination. We knew from other reviews that the cottage would be lovely, but it far surpassed our expectations. It was full of light, but at the same time it was cozy. It was equipped with everything you could want. Katie had left some thoughtful extras for our arrival. The garden is a birds paradise and looks out over fields and woods. It was a lovely place to enjoy breakfast or to sit peacefully at the end of wonderful day out exploring the many beautiful places around the Borders. Arriving back at the cottage at the end of each day's adventures, felt like coming home. Thank you for a perfect holiday ❤️

Really lovely cottage, nicely decorated, and well kitted out. Very clean as well. The garden is the real highlight of the cottage lovely long and brilliant to sit out in watching the swallows over the fields to the back.Unfortunately the road at the front is surprisingly busy with big lorrys and cars driving very fast despite it being a 20mph - which detracts significantly from the tranquility. A fan or two would also really help cool upstairs down during summer.

The Cottage is like a TARDIS, it is very well equipped, spotlessly clean, an absolutely lovely but essential fully enclosed garden for dogsIt's set in beautiful countryside with great dog walks albeit on a lead, in Leitholm itself and the Hirsel.Longer walks off the lead at Bamburgh on a stunning beachExceptional welcome pack.A really lovely week and it only rained twice, at night.
