A beautiful sympathetic church conversion furnished and maintained to the highest standards. Lovely peaceful rural setting with a quaint village pub literally across the road. (we had takeaway and the food was excellent) The accomodation was perfect for our party of 8 with room to spare.Perfectly located within a short drive of a number of local towns and attractions. Would highly recommend. Gave me some wonderful ideas for the church conversion I will undertake someday.

The most incredible stay in the most beautiful place. We were a group of seven friends staying and we couldn't fault a single thing. The church has been so respectfully restored into a beautiful place to stay. The finishing touches are impressive with such attention to details from the quality of the towels and bedding, the sperate hot tub towels, the kitchen equipment to the beautiful welcome gift. The bedrooms are spacious and well set up even providing a hairdryer in every room. The attention to detail makes Auld Kirk House like a home from home that you can really relax and enjoy the break. The social space is ample and so beautifully thought out. Even the fire was set and ready to go when we arrived. The communication between myself and the owners was great and they provide an online welcome pack before arrival which was really helpful. We had a tesco delivery shortly after arrival and they had no issue finding the house so we didn't even need to worry about going out to get groceries. We also enjoyed food in the pub over the road which had a lovely fire burning. Locally we had a beautiful walk along the riverside in Kelso where there were some lovely shops and places to eat. All in all it was the perfect break away and I would highly recommend. We look forward to staying again!

Absolutely stunning. The pictures don't even do justice. Everything in the house from the kitchen utensils to the bedding to the wine cooler😍😍 was just the best of the best. We drove into Kelso one night for a Chinese (kwans) and it was one the best Chinese's some people had ever had. Only 20/30 min drive and we brought it back to the house to eat. Could not recommend the auld Kirk more!
