This holiday retreat is situated in a wonderful rural area on the outskirts of the Scottish Borders amid the beautiful rolling Moorfoot Hills. Galashiels and Melrose are within 20 miles and boast an array of quirky shops, restaurants, friendly inns, art galleries and the historic 12th century Melrose Abbey. The property is within easy reach of the city of Edinburgh (14 miles) with easy access to the city centre using the Park and Ride, or by train from Stow (8 miles), which offers fantastic leisure and shopping facilities, an array of museums, theatres, castles, and heritage sites to explore. The immediate area is a paradise for walkers, cyclists and mountain bikers with numerous country tracks and forest trails to explore. On entering this beautiful home, step into the entrance hall and hang up your coat. Next you ll find the beautiful open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Take in the views of the surrounding countryside through the patio doors that lead out to the decking area. Relax on the comfy seating and enjoy a movie together on the Smart TV.
