When sleep calls, freshen up in the bathroom with either a warm shower or a soak in the tub, before cosying up for the night in one of the two well presented bedrooms, choosing between a king-size and a twin. Outside there is an enclosed private garden with a patio and furniture, ideal for alfresco dining. Peebles is a bustling riverside town with a variety of amenities and attractions. The town offers a great selection of eateries and pubs, with options including The Bridge Inn, Cocoa Black, and Mandarin Garden, and there are also convenience stores for all of your holiday essentials. Peebles offers walks beside the River Tweed, as well as a local golf course, and other activities include Glentress Mountain Bike Trail Centre, Neidpath Castle. Traquair House is a short drive away, where you can explore the historic grounds before stopping off at the Scottish Border's largest natural Loch, St Mary’s in the beautiful Yarrow Valley. The area has excellent public transport links to Edinburgh with its historic castle, museums, eateries, independent stores, and beach. All of this and so much more with a stay at The Wee Coorie.

The bustling medieval village of Pembridge lies on the Black & White Village Trail and boasts many striking 15th and 16th Century half-timbered buildings, and has held markets and fairs in the village since the early 1200s. The village has a beautiful 14th century market hall, 3 traditional village pubs, an excellent village store, a cafe and a church with a unique detached bell tower. Close by, the picturesque village of Weobley, once voted one of the top ten places to live in England, has many timber-framed buildings, and excellent facilities including a village shop, local pubs and the renowned Jules restaurant. Hay-on-Wye, the town of books, is within easy reach as are medieval Ludlow, the cathedral city of Hereford with its medieval bridge spanning the River Wye, Mappa Mundi world map and Chained Library. The magnificent Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons National Park also make a great day out. Surrounded by beautiful rolling countryside including Offa's Dyke and the Golden Valley, this is an excellent location for walking and cycling trails as well as sampling wonderful local produce at a local cheese factory, vineyard and cider farms.

    The property has all you could need and is very clean. Plenty of hot water and easy to operate heating. Comfy beds.
