All of the accommodation is being upgraded,new carpets etc,it will be great when it is all done! So much better than before. We have being going for years, the place needed a face-lift,it is great to see it happening.

Wonderful place, perfect if you want peace, quiet, beautiful surroundings and a safe place to stay. Bonus is that it's dog friendly with lots of stunning places to walk all within short distance. The lodge was clean and warm with everything needed. We got a great welcome and were given an emergency number to call should any problems arise. As others have noted, some of the fittings are tired but this did not affect our stay and the new managers are clearly hard working, making amazing efforts to raise standards for the future. Thank you for a lovely break
